For more than 40 years we have been sharing our experience and expertise in all phases of major engineering projects, from initial design to final construction drawings and management of the construction process.

Hydro Engineering

40+ years
of activity

The engineering company ETME has been active since 1980 in the field of engineering and in particular the study and provision of services in the field of Water Resources. It mainly specializes in Hydraulic, Environmental, Port, Topographic and Static Studies. It is also active in the field of research projects for issues related to the aquatic and natural environment. The Company's Fields of Activity in terms of the category of Hydraulic Studies include Water Resources Management, Water Supply Systems, Sewerage and EEL Systems, Flood Protection, Land Improvement Projects and Drainage-drainage of Road Works.

ETME has participated in important infrastructure projects of national importance, such as dealing with water shortages (1990-1992) (“Athens Water Supply from the Boreholes of the Middle River of Boiotikos Kifissos”), the first management study of B. Kifissos (“Management of the water resources of the watersheds of the BOIOTIKOS KIFISOS and the Ylikis-Paralimni lakes, 1996,) the provision of Plumbing Works Consultant Services in five projects of the Athens Olympic Projects in 2004 (“Technical Support Consultant of EYDE/OE 2004 for the coordination and administration of Olympic Projects”) and the provision of Flood Protection Works Consultant services (1995-2001) “Support consultant for the implementation of the flood protection projects construction program”.

System Engineering

a holistic approach
in project management

System Engineering involves the interdisciplinary approach governing the total technical and managerial effort required to transform a set of stakeholder needs, expectations, and constraints into a solution and to support that solution throughout its life.

ETME’s System Engineering focuses on the operational analysis, specification, design, testing, integration, life-cycle operation and management of Complex Defense Systems and Systems-of-Systems (SoS). The System Engineering processes are also assisted by a set of Program Management Processes (Scheduling and Resource Management, Cost Assessment, Contracts Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance) based on company-wide policies and specifically tailored to each project’s needs.

The approach is also reflected in the connection between the company’s functional/technical departments and the project resource allocation. More specifically, for each project, each one of the functional departments (Program Management, System Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Naval Engineering, Integration) assign one key member to the Program Management Team (PMT) in order to guarantee the proper implementation of the processes with further resource allocation depending upon requirements and need analysis and project specificities.

The strategies, policies, procedures, and techniques are based on ISO/IEC/IEEE/15288:2015.

Offshore Engineering

excelling
at sea

ETME is a leading engineering company with a solid track record of providing exceptional solutions and services in the offshore industry for over a decade. As industry pioneers, we understand the unique challenges and requirements associated with working in offshore environments. Our team of highly skilled and experienced experts leverages cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art software, and extensive industry knowledge to deliver accurate, reliable, and innovative designs that meet the highest industry standards and regulations. From hydrodynamic and structural simulations to offshore structure design and supervision of construction, deployment, and maintenance operations, we have the expertise and capabilities to tackle projects of all sizes and complexities in the offshore engineering domain.

One of our notable innovations is the FloatMast platform, which has been a game-changer in the offshore wind industry. The FloatMast is an unmanned mini-Tension Leg Platform equipped with a 40m meteorological mast and a LiDAR system. It conducts IEC-compliant offshore wind measurements monitoring at a significantly lower cost compared to traditional fixed met masts. Our team at ETME has successfully carried out the full life cycle of the FloatMast, from the initial concept to the decommissioning of the first deployment outside of Makronisos Island.

Innovation Management

new ideas elegantly executed

Innovation Management is based on the company’s engineering background, the extensive experience and substantial capabilities. We can offer a back-to-back solutions for the lifecycle of a product. ETME has a proven track record in the above, from the design services that we offer, to new products like FloatMast®, DECISMAR ®, USSPS ® and others. The Innovation Management that we offer includes:

  • Product Conceptualization
  • IPR & Business strategy management
  • Feasibility analysis
  • Design
  • Prototyping & Testing
  • Product lifecycle management
